Overview

Following the introduction of an IMF-supported programme aimed at supporting reforms towards faster growth and job creation while restricting fiscal spending, it is hoped that Ghana’s economy will stabilise and medium-term prospects will improve. Despite the setbacks of recent years, Ghana’s economy is projected to improve from 3.9 per cent GDP growth in 2015 to 5.9 per cent in 2016, according to the World Bank.

Seth Terkper will discuss decision-making in Ghana’s changing economic landscape and efforts to steer policy implementation towards recovery.
